50 Years Later, New Details Emerge

Looks like there was more to the Cuban missile crisis than we knew at the time. An article published Friday from the BBC explains how after the American government and public thought the crisis was over, the Russians were frantically trying to get back nuclear weapons from Cuba that we didn't know existed. The release of so many documents with the approach of the 50th anniversary is interesting. I'm curious how the ideas we took away should be applied today, particularly with Iran. It might be time to re-evaluate what we thought we knew versus the reality of what happened.
